Right — been on this thing for something like six months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d say something since someone asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an each way payout actually came to when the place terms changed. I used to just guess and get a shock. Now punch the numbers in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and you get the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where I always mess it up. If you want a look, it lives at matched bet calculator — free, no signup.

One thing that genuinely changed how I bet was the more serious bits. They’ve got an implied probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too if I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. Its layout looks a bit basic — zero flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, works. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
