It seems to run in heating mode fine – but when it runs in cooling it trips out on HP straight away. I suspect that the 4 way valve may be stuck? how can I prove this – and if it needs to be changed – how big a job is that?
Thanks, I intend having a look at this in the next few weeks- before we need To go in to cooling mode. Apparently Mitsubishi do a check valve repair kit – you ever overhauled one ? I have units either side so only have access from the front and rear
I don’t think any check valve is reparable, it supposed to be changed.
BTW, besides CV1, the CV7 check valve could be a problem. This valve works in cooling mode only.
