OK — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d write something up since someone asked me last week. Am UK based, mostly stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was genuinely pretty stupid — I could never work out what an each way payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where I always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it’s here how to work out accumulator odds and it’s free with no account nonsense.
What really shifted things for me was the more serious extras. There’s an odds-to-probability thing that shows the overround, plus a kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit when I’m splitting a race.
Not all sunshine though. Its interface feels a bit basic — not much polish, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but you asked.
Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
